Hello fellow Kate fans! I bet you’re all wondering what’s happend to Sparkly!. Unfortunately, due to server issues, we lost all the work we’ve done since Elaine and I took this site over. This means that all the candids Elaine uploaded, all the updates we’ve made, all the content work we had been working on etc. is completely gone. We will be working hard to catch up again, but please stay patient with us!

Kate Hudson Is Looking for Love – Not Marriage

With one marriage behind her, Kate Hudson doesn’t see herself walking down the aisle in her immediate future.

“It’s definitely not something I’m looking for,” she tells the October issue of Elle UK.

Though Hudson, 31, and rocker Chris Robinson split in 2007, the divorce, she says, “doesn’t put me off.”

“I’ll just see what happens. I think a lot of times people are terrified of love and stop themselves from experiencing it,” she tells the magazine. “I don’t ever want to get that jaded.”

While Robinson, with whom Hudson has a son, Ryder, 6, has since started a family with wife Allison Bridges, the actress has also moved on.

Her rocker beau, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, is “lovely,” she says, adding that the two “are just learning about each other and it’s wonderful.”

As for her new outlook on relationships, the actress is fairly simple. “I do believe in love,” she says. “I believe that when you really open yourself up to love, it’s the most beautiful thing.” [SOURCE]

Kate Hudson terrified at Nine audition

Kate Hudson has confessed she was a bundle of nerves when she went to audition for the musical-romantic film Nine. The Almost Famous actress, who split with New York Yankees baseballer Alex Rodriguez, said that bagging the role of Stephanie was anything but easy.

“That awkward moment when you first open your mouth and start to sing is terrifying,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying. The 30-year-old star, who co-stars with Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Fergie and Sophia Loren, beat Anne Hathaway and Sienna Miller to land the role.

She further told Oprah Winfrey in a TV interview that being a part of the project was “maybe (her) best experience to date”. She added: “I look at everything on a project-to-project basis. I”m a spontaneous person so, when I approach anything, I try not to think too much. I am an instinctual being, so I approach with my instincts – that”s my thing.” [SOURCE]

HUDSON LOVES FAMILY FEUDS AT CHRISTMAS

KATE HUDSON is looking forward to going home for the holidays – because she loves watching her relatives bicker on Christmas Day.
The Almost Famous actress will take her young son Ryder back to the Colorado town where she grew up – but admits the celebrations are often far from festive when her family begins feuding.
She says, “We go to Colorado every year where we grew up and just hang out. It’s a great time because it’s the one time when we all really get together. I can’t wait to see who gets in the first argument, that’s always a good one. There’s always going to be one argument. There’s always going to be the one that everybody’s worried about in the family – always! There’s always somebody saying, ‘I’m really concerned about your brother or I’m really concerned about Aunt so-and-so!’” [Source]

Kate Hudson: ‘I had a really fun summer’

Kate Hudson has tried to dodge questions relating to her romantic relationship with Alex Rodriguez.

During a recent appearance on Late Night with David Letterman to promote her musical Nine, the actress giggled and gave short answers when asked about her baseball star boyfriend, Us Weekly reports.

The 30-year-old said: “Yeah, he’s a friend of mine. Nice guy.

“Yeah, he’s a nice guy. You just can’t help yourself! You just can’t! I knew it was going to come at some point!”

Hudson finally admitted that watching Rodriguez play made for “a really fun summer” and that the New York Yankees’s victory in the World Series “was awesome”.

Nine is to be released in the UK on December 18 and in the US on December 25. [Source]
