It’s splitsville for Demi Moore and … Ann Taylor.

After casting the age-defying actress in the Fall and Holiday 2011 ads, the retailer is continuing its practice of refreshing its celebrity roster by tapping Kate Hudson as the face of its Spring 2012 ad campaign.

Photographed by Tom Munro at an estate in Pasadena, California, the blonde beauty looks as gorgeous as ever after taking some time off to have her second son, Bingham.

The airy ads see the Chrome Hearts collaborator jazzing up a cream Modern Lace Sheath Dress with a skinny pink neon belt, while a citron yellow lace shift, cobalt blue blouse, and plum trousers paired with a white fringed top provide exuberant shots of color.

“I am thrilled to collaborate with Ann Taylor this Spring,” the engaged star says in a press statement.

Kate Hudson “calls it a day” when she’s spent five minutes on her make-up.

The actress is famed for her subtle make-up look and always lets her natural beauty shine through. Kate says her daytime beauty regime is no-fuss, but likes to refresh it before heading out on an evening.

“I usually keep it simple: for easy, five minute make-up, I use eyeliner, blush, mascara and call it a day,” she told Stylelist. “If I’m going out, maybe I’ll touch up a little bit.”

Kate has two children, sons Ryder and Bingham. The 32-year-old says her beauty regime “didn’t really change” when she was pregnant.

“I’m not fussy, my face just got a little fuller,” she revealed.

“As far as products, I’m a big advocate of natural. Ren Skincare is great.”

Kate relies on a couple of beauty staples to keep her looking red carpet ready. The stunning always keeps lip gloss and concealer in her bag.

The blonde star also revealed her beauty icons.

“Anita Pallenberg and Julie Christie,” she said.

Pregnant Kate Hudson is determined to ensure that her son Ryder won’t feel left out when the new baby arrives.

The actress, who is expecting a child with her fiancé, British muse rocker Matt Bellamy, has revealed that the seven-year-old is excited about the new addition to their family.

Kate, who had Ryder when she was married to her first husband Chris Robinson, explained she will have to be cautious when she introduces her son to his new sibling.

“Oh, he is totally excited,” she told a German magazine. “But of course I have to be careful not to give him the feeling that he is in second place from now on.”

The 32-year-old blonde beauty also revealed how the birth of her first child changed her life.

Kate was in her twenties when Ryder was born in 2004 and says becoming a mother made her more mature.

“He helped me to grow up,” she said. “Life takes a new direction with a child, you see the deeper sense in life. Children become your priority. And you have to find a balance to include all the other stuff.”
